Derek Stevenson is a 6'2", 195-pound wide receiver from Katy, Texas, who enters the 2026 season as a true freshman at San Diego State. During his junior year at St. Thomas Catholic, he recorded 37 receptions for 566 yards and six touchdowns while returning eight kickoffs for 205 yards as he helped the Eagles reach the TAPPS Division I playoff semifinals. After transferring to Paetow High School for his senior season, Stevenson led the Panthers with 33 receptions, 884 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns, averaging 80.4 yards per game in a campaign that included a playoff run to the UIL Texas State 6A Division I State Championship. He committed to San Diego State as a three-star recruit.
