Nathan Acevedo, a 5'10" wide receiver from Lincoln High in San Diego, played three seasons at Fresno State before transferring to San Diego State. In 2024, he took the field in seven games, compiling nine receptions for 65 yards and two rushing attempts for 18 yards while earning All-Academic honors in the Mountain West. During his 2025 junior season with the Aztecs, Acevedo appeared in 12 contests with five starts, recording 16 receptions for 190 yards and two punt returns for 63 yards including one touchdown. He finished with 245 all-purpose yards for the season, highlighted by a 61-yard performance with four catches and a punt return touchdown in the New Mexico Bowl on December 27.
