Dalesean Staley is a 6'1", 190-pound safety from Kansas City, Missouri, who transferred to San Diego State after two seasons at Northern Iowa. At Northern Iowa, he appeared in 11 games in 2023, recording 70 tackles, eight pass breakups, and three interceptions. In his first year with the Aztecs in 2024, Staley started all 11 games played and finished third on the team with 61 tackles. During the 2025 season, he started all 13 games and posted 81 total tackles with 40 solo, eight passes defended, and one interception.
