Kaleb Mitchell is a 6'7" wide receiver from DeSoto, Texas who transferred to Sam Houston from Utah State. At First Baptist Academy, Mitchell was a three-star recruit who recorded 46 receptions for 959 yards and eight touchdowns as a senior, including a career-high 206 yards on nine catches against Buckeye HS. As a junior, he had 48 receptions for 1,008 yards and 16 touchdowns. Mitchell retained his redshirt during the 2025 season at Utah State without seeing action and now joins the Bearkats as a redshirt freshman.
