Chris Reed, a 6'0" wide receiver from Orlando, Florida, has played at Itawamba CC, Florida A&M, and Utah before joining Sam Houston. As a redshirt senior in 2025, Reed appeared in all 12 games with 6 starts, recording 30 receptions for 460 yards and 5 touchdowns while averaging 15.3 yards per catch. He posted six catches for 79 yards against LA Tech on October 31 and added four receptions for 67 yards with two scores at Middle Tennessee on November 22. Reed led the Bearkats with his receiving production during the 2025 season.
