Chauncey Chidi is a 6'3", 255-pound right defensive end from Kumasi, Ghana, who prepped at Nevada Community High School in Texas. He recorded 77 tackles, 15 tackles-for-loss, and 4 sacks during his senior season and earned all-district second-team honors. Chidi redshirted in 2022, then appeared in 11 games as a redshirt freshman in 2023, finishing with 27 total tackles. In 2024 at Central Missouri, he played all 12 games and recorded 37 tackles, 4.5 tackles-for-loss, and 2.0 sacks. He transferred to Sam Houston for the 2025 season, where he has tallied 31 total tackles, 3.5 tackles-for-loss, and 2.5 sacks.
