The Jarrell, Texas native attended Round Rock Westwood HS, where he earned 2-time first-team all-district honors and was named team Defensive MVP. Over 29 varsity games, he recorded 177 total tackles, 116 solo stops, and 11.0 sacks, while contributing 11 return yards on special teams.
