Alijah Cason is a 5'10", 175-pound wide receiver and slot receiver from Midlothian, TX, who transferred to Sam Houston as a junior. He attended First Baptist Academy, where he was a two-time First Team All-State and All-District selection, 2023 District MVP, and ranked third all-time in receiving touchdowns in Texas high school football history with 63 total touchdowns over two years. At Holy Cross, Cason played in 11 games in 2025, recording 22 receptions for 244 yards and two touchdowns while also returning a kick 97 yards for a score against NIU. As a 2024 freshman, he appeared in 11 games as a receiver and returner, earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors after recording 42 receiving yards against Colgate, and was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.
