Malikai Nichols is a left cornerback for Sacramento State standing 5'11" and weighing 167 pounds. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, Nichols graduated from Archbishop Curley HS in 2024, where he played three seasons of varsity football and accumulated 75 total tackles with three interceptions. As a senior, he recorded 34 tackles and earned all-MIAA Conference honors. He transferred to Sacramento State after spending two years at Saint Francis in Pennsylvania, where he redshirted in 2024. During the 2025 season, Nichols appeared in nine games, posting 11 total tackles including one for loss and three pass breakups, with a season-high five tackles against Mercyhurst.
