Rocco Rainone is a junior quarterback at Rutgers standing 6'0" and weighing 195 pounds. The Glen Cove, New York native attended Holy Trinity, where he played under coach Chris Hardardt and accumulated 2,324 career passing yards and 26 touchdowns. As a junior in high school, Rainone completed 62 passes for 1,083 yards and 13 touchdowns while adding four rushing scores, helping the Titans to a 9-1 record and NYCHSFL AA-1 championship in 2022. He threw nine touchdowns as a sophomore when Holy Trinity went 10-0 and won a state title. Rainone was selected for the CHSFL Senior Bowl and earned preseason all-conference honors as a senior. At Rutgers, he did not see game action as a freshman in 2024 or sophomore in 2025, when he was named to the Academic All-Big Ten list.
