RJ Johnson Jr. is a left defensive end for Rutgers standing 6'4" and weighing 250 pounds. The Bear, Delaware native attended Salesianum High School, where he played defensive line under coach Gene Delle Donne. As a senior in 2024, Johnson helped lead Salesianum to an 11-2 record and a 3A DIAA championship appearance, earning 3A-1 Lineman of the Year and District 3A-1 First Team All-Defense honors from the Delaware News Journal. He was tabbed a four-star signee and the No. 1 prospect from Delaware by recruiting services. Johnson made his collegiate debut against Norfolk State on September 13, appearing in two games during his 2025 freshman season.
