Malachi Davis is a 6'4", 250-pound left defensive end from Holt, Michigan, who transferred to Rutgers for the 2026 season after four years at Toledo. Over his 2022–25 career with the Rockets, Davis appeared in 28 games with 12 starts, accumulating 57 tackles, 14 for loss, and eight sacks. In 2025, his senior season, he started all 12 games and earned Third Team All-MAC honors while posting 36 tackles, 9.5 tackles-for-loss, and 5.5 sacks. He also received Academic All-MAC recognition and ranked ninth in the MAC with 0.46 sacks per game.
