Michael O'Connor is a long snapper for the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The 6'1", 215-pound native of Middletown, New Jersey, attended Red Bank Catholic High School. O'Connor made his collegiate debut handling punts in a win over Temple on September 9, 2023, and appeared in 11 games that season. In 2025, he served as the starting long snapper for all 12 games, snapping for field goals, extra points, and punts. He recorded a snap for the tying and winning field goal against Purdue on October 25, 2025. O'Connor has been named to the Academic All-Big Ten list four times and was selected to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society in 2025.
