Matthew Murri is a long snapper from Fair Lawn, New Jersey, where he played for the Cutters under coach Brendan Wallis. At Fair Lawn High School, Murri lined up at long snapper and defensive end, recording 34 tackles and six tackles-for-loss over his career. He also competed in lacrosse, earning all-league honors, and wrestled at 165 pounds as a senior with 15 wins. Murri appeared in the Bergen County All-Star game. Currently a redshirt junior at Rutgers, he did not see game action in 2025 and was named to the Academic All-Big Ten list.
