Cannon Marshall is a 6'0", 185-pound defensive back from Rolesville, North Carolina, where he was coached by Ranier Rackley. During his senior season in 2024, Marshall recorded 34 tackles, 11 passes defended, and three interceptions while helping his high school reach a 4A state title game and win a Northern 4A division title. He also competed in track and field, posting a 100-meter dash time of 10.85. Marshall reclassified to the 2025 class and joined Rutgers as a freshman, seeing no game action in his first year. He returns as a sophomore for the Scarlet Knights.
