Jerrick Harper is a left cornerback from Silsbee, Texas, who transferred to Rice from Trinity Valley Community College. In his second year with the Cardinals, he recorded 36 tackles and eight pass breakups across nine games. Harper appeared in 12 games for the Owls in 2025, totaling 23 tackles with 2 pass deflections and 0.5 tackles for loss. He saw increased snaps down the stretch, including a season-high 66 against UConn in his first career start, where he recorded six tackles.
