Ta'Vari Hampton is a 6'0", 185-pound defensive back for the Purdue Boilermakers. The Sanford, Florida native played as a freshman at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, where he earned Second Team NJCAA All-American honors and First Team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference recognition. During that season, Hampton recorded 115 tackles along with 19 tackles-for-loss, four interceptions, nine passes defended, and two forced fumbles. He returns to Purdue as a sophomore.
