Ricky Sampson is a 6'4", 210-pound junior wide receiver from Las Vegas, Nevada, returning to Purdue. Sampson played quarterback as a freshman at Webber International in 2024, appearing in seven games and completing 17 of 36 passes for 175 yards while rushing 21 times for 131 yards and three touchdowns. He transferred to Victor Valley College as a sophomore in 2025, moving to wide receiver and appearing in nine games. He caught 49 passes for 606 yards and three receiving touchdowns, including a season-high 10 receptions for 126 yards in the American Division Championship Bowl Game against Santa Monica.
