Izaiah Wright is a true freshman running back from Inkster, Michigan who attended Oscar A. Carlson High School. A three-star recruit ranked 907th nationally, Wright was tabbed the No. 2 running back prospect in Michigan by Rivals and earned AP First Team All-State honors. Over his high school career, he compiled 4,700 yards and 68 touchdowns on 585 carries while adding 20 receptions for 273 yards and four scores, including 22 games with at least 100 rushing yards. As a senior, he logged 2,188 yards and 31 touchdowns. Wright also competed in track, qualifying for the state meet multiple times and holding school records in the 100m, 4x100m, and 4x200m relay.
