Corin Berry is a true freshman quarterback at Purdue from Covina, California, where he attended Charter Oak High School. Berry was a three-star recruit ranked No. 13 at his position in California and No. 39 nationally by national outlets. Over his prep career, he completed 509 of 877 passes for 7,562 yards and 74 touchdowns while rushing 125 times for 756 yards and 12 scores. His junior season proved particularly productive, with 3,034 passing yards, 33 touchdowns, and 284 rushing yards. As a senior, Berry threw for 2,389 yards and 23 touchdowns against four interceptions while adding 319 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He earned SGV and Sierra League Offensive Player of the Year honors and First Team All-CIF selection.
