Synkwan Smith is a 5'7", 170-pound running back for the Pittsburgh Panthers. Smith graduated from Roswell High School in Georgia, where he played running back, wide receiver, and return man. During his prep career, he rushed for 551 yards and four touchdowns on 85 carries, caught 23 passes for 142 yards and four touchdowns, and averaged 29.4 yards on eight kickoff returns for 235 total yards. He enrolled at Pittsburgh in June 2025 and appeared in one game as a true freshman before redshirting. Smith is currently a redshirt freshman and returning to the program.
