Cataurus Hicks, a 5'10" receiver from Miami Central High School, transferred to Pittsburgh in January 2025 after two seasons at Louisville. At Louisville, he appeared in 14 games and recorded 13 receptions for 160 yards. In his first year with the Panthers, Hicks caught 24 passes for 422 yards and four touchdowns. He posted 55 receiving yards and two scores in his Pitt debut, including a one-handed touchdown. Against NC State, he hauled in an 84-yard touchdown reception, the longest scoring pass since Pitt began playing at Acrisure Stadium.
