Benny Haselrig is a 5'11", 195-pound wide receiver from Pittsburgh who attends Hampton High School. He joined Pitt as a training camp walk-on in 2023 and redshirted that season. In 2024, Haselrig appeared in two games against Youngstown State and Syracuse, recording a seven-yard reception against YSU. He did not see game action in 2025. At Hampton, he earned three All-Greater Allegheny Conference selections and caught 58 passes for 937 yards with 14 touchdowns as a senior, the most TDs by a Hampton player in 16 years. The Talbots made three WPIAL playoff appearances during his tenure, including an 11-1 section championship in his junior year.
