Finn Furmanek is a tight end for Penn State from State College, Pennsylvania, where he lettered three times at State College Area High School under coach Matt Lintal. He served as team captain during his senior year, when the squad compiled a 13-1 record and reached consecutive state semifinals. Furmanek earned first-team all-league and second-team all-conference honors, and competed in the 2023 PSFCA East-West All-Star Game. He redshirted in 2023, receiving Developmental Squad Special Teams Player of the Week recognition twice. As a redshirt freshman in 2024, he appeared in four games on special teams and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. In 2025, Furmanek appeared in all 13 games primarily on special teams while repeating as an Academic All-Big Ten selection.
