Alex Tatsch is a sophomore linebacker for Penn State from Latrobe, PA, where he attended Greater Latrobe High School. A four-star recruit ranked 152nd overall by recruiting services, Tatsch appeared in six games during his true freshman season in 2025, recording 14 tackles including seven solo stops and one for a loss, plus one pass breakup. His most productive outing came against Nebraska on 11/22, when he made five tackles with three solo. At Greater Latrobe, Tatsch was a four-year letterman and team captain who finished as the school's all-time leading tackler, posting 111 tackles and nine sacks as a junior.
