Tristan Phillips is a true freshman linebacker for the Oregon Ducks from Ventura, California. A four-star recruit ranked 363rd nationally in the 2026 class, Phillips earned first-team All-West Region honors from USA Today. As a senior at Ventura High School, he compiled 127 tackles with 61 solo stops, along with 11 sacks and two blocked field goals. He also contributed on offense with seven receptions for 90 yards and a touchdown, and rushed three times for 19 yards and a score. Phillips was named CIF-SS Division 6 Defensive MVP after leading Ventura to a 13-3 record and the Southern Section championship.
