Jerry Mixon, a 6'2" 240-pound linebacker from San Francisco, California, joined Oregon as a three-star recruit in 2023. He appeared in eight games as a true freshman, recording five tackles and a tackle for loss. In 2024, Mixon played in 11 of the team's 14 games with three total tackles. As a junior in 2025, he emerged as a defensive leader, appearing in all 15 games with 13 starts while helping the Ducks reach the College Football Playoff Semifinal. Mixon registered 57 total tackles (28 solo), 4.0 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks, two interceptions, seven pass breakups, and one fumble recovery. He earned Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 3 and led all Big Ten linebackers with seven pass breakups.
