Trey McNutt is a defensive back from Cleveland, Ohio, who attended Shaker Heights High School. A five-star prospect and consensus top-five safety in the 2025 recruiting class, McNutt was rated No. 21 overall nationally by Rivals and No. 27 by the composite recruiting rankings. He recorded 61 tackles, three TFLs, 12 PBUs and two forced fumbles as a junior. McNutt redshirted during the 2025 season after not appearing in games due to injury. He is the highest-rated safety to sign with Oregon in program history according to recruiting services and returns as a redshirt freshman for the Ducks.
