Ify Obidegwu is a left cornerback for Oregon from Baltimore, Maryland, who attended St. Frances Academy. A consensus four-star recruit ranked No. 52 nationally in the 2024 class, Obidegwu redshirted his freshman year in 2024. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, he appeared in all 15 games with 12 starts, recording 24 total tackles (13 solo), six pass breakups, and one interception across 423 defensive snaps. He tied for third on the team in pass breakups and posted his best performance against No. 15 USC, collecting three tackles, his first career interception, and an assist on a tackle for loss. Oregon reached the College Football Playoff Semifinal during his campaign.
