A consensus four-star prospect and nation's No. 210 overall recruit, he was ranked as the country's No. 9 running back by Rivals. In his freshman season, Blaylock appeared in all 13 games with six starts, earning SEC All-Freshman Team honors and SEC Freshman of the Week twice. He rushed 120 times for 480 yards and four touchdowns while adding 13 receptions for 77 yards. His performance included a 100-yard, two-touchdown effort at Temple on 9/13 and a season-high 101 rushing yards and a score on 19 carries at South Carolina on 10/18.
