Taylor Wein is a left defensive end for the Oklahoma Sooners who enrolled in June 2023 after starring at Nolensville High School in Tennessee. A redshirt junior standing 6'4" and weighing 266 pounds, Wein appeared in one game during his redshirt season in 2023. He played in 12 games in 2024 primarily on special teams and in reserve role. In 2025, Wein played in all 13 games with eight starts and recorded 39 tackles, 15.0 tackles for loss, and 7.0 sacks to lead the team in both categories. He added six quarterback hurries, one interception, a forced fumble, and a pass breakup while earning All-SEC Second Team honors from the coaches.
