Tyler Mercer is a center from Prosper, Texas who transferred to Oklahoma State from Kansas. He played in three games during his redshirt season at Kansas in 2025, appearing against Fresno State, Wagner, and West Virginia. As a true freshman at North Texas in 2024, Mercer played in eight games with six starts and earned national outlets and Freshman All-America honors. He was also named Dave Campbell Texas Football's Offensive Freshman of the Year and the AAC Impact Freshman of the Year. In high school, Mercer earned District 5-6A Offensive Line MVP honors in both his junior and senior seasons and helped Prosper reach the district title in 2023.
