Louie Canepa is a right guard from Napa, California, who attended Vintage High School under coach Dylan Leach. He began his college career at New Mexico State, redshirting in 2022 before appearing in 14 of 15 games as a freshman in 2023, earning 10 starts while the Aggies posted a 10-win season and qualified for the 2023 Isleta New Mexico Bowl. As a sophomore in 2024, Canepa played in all 12 games with four starts at right guard. He transferred to Oklahoma State as a junior but suffered a season-ending injury before the 2025 campaign began.
