Cooper Mailand is a linebacker for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. The Dallas native attended Parish Episcopal School, where he earned TAPPS Division 1 second team all-state honors and first team all-district accolades at linebacker as a senior in 2022. That season he recorded 157 total tackles, 62 solo stops, 17.0 tackles for loss, and 6.0 sacks. Across his prep career, Mailand tallied 412 tackles including 121 solo stops, 34.5 tackles for loss, and 10.0 sacks. He joined Wyoming as a redshirt in 2023 and appeared in neither the 2024 nor 2025 seasons before entering the transfer portal.
