Joe Otting is a redshirt junior center for Notre Dame from Topeka, Kansas. A four-star recruit in the 2023 class, he did not appear in games during his first year before making his collegiate debut against Purdue in 2024, playing in seven contests. In 2025, Otting appeared in nine games and started the final six, including his first career start at USC on October 18. He recorded two total tackles on defense. His offensive line units blocked for notable rushing performances, including 306 yards against USC, 249 yards against Navy, and a season-high 329 yards against Syracuse. The offensive line did not allow a sack in three games: Boston College, Navy, and Stanford.
