Josh Fussell is a redshirt junior cornerback for Northwestern from Cincinnati, Ohio. A three-star recruit in the 2023 class, Fussell appeared in one game during his first year before redshirting. In 2024, he played in 12 games with eight starts, recording 39 tackles and five pass breakups. During the 2025 season, Fussell appeared in 11 games with 10 starts, posting 32 total tackles, nine pass breakups, and 1.0 tackles for loss. He ranked third in the Big Ten in pass breakups and earned All-Big Ten Honorable Mention honors.
