Gavin Frakes is a 6'4", 235-pound quarterback from Norman, Oklahoma, who attended Norman North High School. As a senior in 2021, he led the Timberwolves to a 7-4 record and threw for 2,207 yards with 24 touchdowns while adding 785 rushing yards and eight scores. He committed to New Mexico State and played in 11 games as a true first-year in 2022, making five starts and accumulating 736 passing yards with four touchdowns and 143 rushing yards with two scores.
