Aidan Chiles, a 6'4", 220-pound quarterback from Long Beach, California, transferred to Northwestern after two seasons at Michigan State. As a sophomore in 2024, he started all 12 games, completing 59 percent of his passes for 2,415 yards, 13 touchdowns and 11 interceptions while adding 225 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. In 2025, playing in nine games including eight starts before an injury, Chiles completed 63 percent of his passes for 1,392 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions. He led Michigan State with six rushing touchdowns on 81 carries for 227 yards. Chiles was named Academic All-Big Ten and earned Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors following his four-touchdown performance against Boston College.
