Liam Russo is a tight end for the Northern Illinois Huskies, standing 6'5" and weighing 226 pounds. The St. Louis, Missouri native attended De Smet Jesuit High School, where he earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2024. During his prep career, Russo recorded 36 catches for 481 yards and five touchdowns in 2024, and 13 catches for 262 yards and one touchdown in 2023. He was a four-year varsity letterwinner and received an Under Armor All-America Camp invite. Russo joined Northern Illinois as part of the 2025 recruiting class and is currently a redshirt freshman. He did not see game action during his freshman season.
