Landon Hron is a redshirt junior center for Northern Illinois, standing 6'3" and weighing 318 pounds. A native of Hartford, Wisconsin, he was a three-year varsity letterwinner and team captain at Hartford High School, earning First-team All-Conference honors as a senior along with All-Region and All-State recognition. Hron redshirted in 2023 before seeing limited action in three games during 2024. In 2025, his first full season as a starter, he started all 12 games with 10 appearances at center and two at guard, earning Academic All-MAC honors. During that season, the Huskies recorded a 187.1-yard rushing average and allowed 1.58 sacks per game.
