Ean Hamric is a redshirt senior quarterback for Northern Illinois standing 6'1" and weighing 185 pounds. A native of Glenville, West Virginia, Hamric attended Gilmer County High School before playing at the University of Charleston from 2022 to 2025. Across three seasons at Charleston, he appeared in 26 games, throwing for 2,999 yards and 31 touchdowns while rushing for 1,023 yards and 13 touchdowns. As a starter, Hamric compiled a 13-4 record over 17 games. In 2025, he played eight games, passing for 1,238 yards and 15 touchdowns against three interceptions, and rushed for 485 yards on 119 attempts. Hamric now returns to the Huskies roster.
