Deacon King is a freshman safety from Westfield, Indiana, where he played for Westfield High School. As a senior, he rushed for 822 yards and 13 touchdowns while recording 45 tackles on defense and helped lead the program to the 2025 Indiana Class 6A state title game. He was named to the Indiana Mr. Football watchlist by Indy Star ahead of his senior season. As a junior, King accumulated 1,440 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns while adding 39 tackles and two interceptions. King currently wears number 23 for the Northern Illinois Huskies.
