Julio Madero IV is an offensive lineman for North Texas standing 6'4" and weighing 320 pounds. The Odessa, Texas native from Permian HS spent the 2024 season at Navarro College, where he earned First Team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference honors as a freshman and was named an NJCAA DI All-American. He also received recognition on Dave Campbell's Texas Football All-Texas Non-FBS Team and helped Navarro reach the TIPS-C.H.A.M.PS. Heart of Texas Bowl. Playing for an offense ranked ninth nationally in total offense and third in passing offense, Madero chose the Mean Green over Texas State, UAB, and FIU. He preserved a redshirt in 2025 without appearing in games.
