BJ Allen Jr. is a 6'0", 198-pound nickelback from Aledo, Texas, who transferred to North Texas after two seasons at Texas. He appeared in two games for the Longhorns in 2023, including his career debut against Rice, while redshirting in 2022. At Aledo High School, Allen earned All-America and all-state honors, posting 32 tackles—26 solo—four interceptions and one forced fumble as a senior in 2021. In 2024, his first season with Mean Green, he saw action in eight games and recorded eight tackles with a forced fumble. During the 2025 campaign, Allen appeared in 14 games, tallying 15 tackles, one tackle for loss and four pass breakups.
