Ryland Satter is a redshirt sophomore linebacker for North Dakota State. The 6'1", 235-pound native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, graduated from O'Gorman High School in 2024 after serving as a three-year starter and team captain. In his final high school season, he recorded 1,000 receiving yards and set a state record with five touchdown catches in a single game while accumulating 12 tackles for loss defensively. He finished his prep career with 2,285 receiving yards and 36 touchdowns across multiple positions. Satter redshirted during the 2024 season and appeared in two games as a freshman in 2025 against Northern Iowa and St. Thomas. He was named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll in 2024.
