Oliver Lucht is a linebacker from Fargo, North Dakota who attended Fargo Davies High School, where he was a three-year starter at running back and linebacker. In his senior year, he rushed for 488 yards and nine touchdowns while recording 24 receptions for 420 yards and six scores, and made 60 total tackles with nine tackles for loss. He redshirted in 2023 before appearing in four games as a freshman in 2024, recording one tackle against Missouri State. In 2025, his sophomore season, Lucht played in nine games as a backup linebacker and made 12 tackles total. He recorded a career-high five tackles and a tackle for loss against St. Thomas and intercepted a pass against Southern Illinois, returning it for 11 yards. He also registered two quarterback hurries and was named to the 2024 MVFC Honor Roll.
