Q Barnslater is a cornerback from Burnsville, Minnesota, who attends North Dakota State University as a true freshman. At Apple Valley High School, he was a four-year starter and team captain under coach Peter Usset, earning district defensive player of the year honors. Barnslater accumulated 1,000 yards passing and receiving during his high school career along with 980 rushing yards and 34 total touchdowns. Defensively, he recorded two interceptions and three forced fumbles. He also competed in basketball and track and was named all-state in choir. Standing 6'0" and weighing 170 pounds, Barnslater wears jersey number 31 for the Bison.
