Nate Tastad is a left guard for North Dakota State who hails from Rolette, North Dakota. A 2024 graduate of Rolette High School, he redshirted during the 2024 season. In 2025, his freshman year, Tastad started all 13 games at left guard and earned selection to the MVFC All-Newcomer Team. He was named FCS Freshman All-America by Stats Perform, FCS Football Central, and Phil Steele. The offensive line he anchored contributed to an NDSU offense that scored 89 total touchdowns, tied for eighth most in program history.
