Luke Kokat is a tight end for North Dakota State who stands 6'3" and weighs 250 pounds. A 2022 graduate of Union Grove High School in Sturtevant, Wisconsin, he was a four-year letterwinner and three-time starter who made 10 catches for 179 yards as a senior and earned all-state honors at the position. Kokat redshirted in 2022, appeared in two home games during his freshman season in 2023, and played in 15 of 16 games on the kickoff return team in 2024, including a two-yard return on a short kick against Missouri State. In 2025, he appeared in 13 games and started once at tight end for an offense that averaged 212.6 rushing yards per game.
