Jett Zabel is a tight end from Pierre, South Dakota, and a 2024 graduate of T.F. Riggs High School, where he was a three-year starter and team captain. At the prep level, he earned 2023 Midco Sports Class 11AA Player of the Year honors and two all-conference selections. He holds school records with 138 receptions and 35 receiving touchdowns across his career. Zabel redshirted during the 2024 season at North Dakota State. In 2025, his freshman campaign, he appeared in nine games, recording one reception for four yards against Tennessee State and a 23-yard kickoff return versus Northern Iowa. From T.F.
